USC Rowing Achieve Outstanding Results at the Pittsburgh Sprints and Take Home 9 Medals.
USC Rowing competed in the Pittsburgh Scholastic Sprints on Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park on Saturday April 24th. They faced off against seven other teams including Fox Chapel, Mt. Lebanon, Pine Richland, North Allegheny, Allderdice, Oakland Catholic and North Catholic. Each race was a 1.5K sprint style event. It was the perfect spring day for a regatta as the spectators cheered on their teams at the finish line on the banks of Lake Arthur. Congratulations to the entire team for representing USC so well!
First Place Finishes (Gold):
• Rowan Giroux and Jake Kilzer- Men’s Novice 2X
• Willow Conley and Sophia Song- Women’s Novice 2X (event 20)• Rachel Carson and Mahleywa Parish-Some- Women’sNovice 2X (event 19)
