Registration will be open from August 11th to September 30th.
Additional Information for the Season - PLEASE READ
Swim Tests: All athletes are required to pass an annual in-person swim test. Rowers unable or unwilling to do so will be required to wear PFD during all “on-water” activities. The swim test may be performed at most area pools, and will be offered on at the Woodland Hills Swim Club, details below. Please print this form, have it completed by a lifeguard, and bring it to the first practice.

- 9:00 – 10:00 AM (please arrive by 8:55 AM so that we can start on time)

- All returning rowers are encouraged to join to cheer the new rowers on and to enjoy a light breakfast with friends/teammates.
Required Meeting: Parents/Guardians of rowers are required to attend an informational meeting on August 27th at 7:00 PM in the High School LGI (Arts Entrance).
Practice: The first High School Team practice is scheduled for August 25th (Bus leaves the HS at 4pm and returns at 7:30pm). The first Fort Couch Team practice is scheduled for August 26th (Bus leaves the HS at 5:30pm and returns at roughly 8:30pm).
Transportation: Upper St Clair High School provides bus transportation for all rowers, both High School and Fort Couch, to our boathouse, located at Montour Marina.

To attend practice and compete, rowers must
- Be registered with USC Rowing via TeamSnap
- Be registered with USRowing (membership, waiver, and association with USC Rowing)
- Have completed all Upper St Clair School District's Healthy Roster requirements.
- High School rowers are expected to attend a minimum of 3 practices a week.

Costs: USC Rowing offers both High School and Fort Couch (development) teams, and their costs differ.

NOTE: You may pay in monthly installments but doing so is manual; there are details at the end of the registration process. Simply choose "Other Payment Options" for both this and the ability to pay for the full season in advance to receive a discount. ($150 for HS, $75 for FC)
* High School uniforms will the be the same as last year. Prior year uniforms may be worn, or new
uniforms can be purchased from SewSporty. Uniforms take 4 weeks to arrive. Please use this link for a team discount and free group shipping.

USRowing: Athletes must be members of USRowing, complete the USRowing waiver, be
associated with the USCRA, and if 18 years of age or older, comply with SafeSport. Please ensure
your requirements are current. Read more details here.
Healthy Roster: To participate, health physicals must be completed and documentation submitted
via Healthy Roster. Read the instructions there, it's a fairly manual process. See the USCHS Student Handbook.
Other Policies: Please refer to the USC High School Student-Parent Handbook for guidelines on
what is expected of club team members, coaches, volunteers and families.
Clearances: Requirements and procedures for USCRA volunteers are being updated and may
change for Fall 2024, however, information on required clearances for USCSD volunteers may be
found here.
Paying by check: If you registered for USC Rowing for the Fall 2024 season, and chose to make
payments by check, please use this form to remit your payments.

High School:
Fall:
- Monday - Thursday from 4:00 - ~7:30 PM
- Saturdays from 8:30 - ~Noon
Winter:
- Monday - Friday from 4:30- 6:30 PM
Middle School:
Fall:
- Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 - ~8:30 PM
Winter:
- Monday - Friday from 6:30- 7:45 PM
